I just googled a pendulum. What is the major difference between that and an expander?

Also, I agree with the Waterpik for cleaning. I'd never make it without mine. My son uses it for his expander and I use it for where I can't floss. Luckily, my bite plate is removable and I can easily clean it.

Well, they are finally off! :HugeGrin: The removal process went fairly quick since the molar bands were taken off almost 2 weeks prior. They had to grind off the adhesive and polish up my teeth. They got impressions taken for my clear retainers and I picked those up the same afternoon. It now feels...

I think my tooth that jutted out is starting to finally pull back. Next time I go to the ortho (5/18, my first adjustment) they're supposed to put on a thicker wire and start actively closing my gap.

I would ask your ortho about a bite plate or turbos. I myself have a removable bite plate due to grinding and clenching and a strong overbite. It's a pain at first, but so worth not damaging my teeth or braces.
