This was my solution to the drinks problem: Drink everything you drank before braces. Seriously, I have drank pop, juices, beer, and everything else and had zero problems. I really think most the food and drink restrictions are geared toward children, not adults who know enough to care for their tee...

It shouldnt impact treatment while in braces, cause the effects are cumulative over a long period of time. Since your ortho has a plan already to include a habit trainer with your retainer, you should be in good shape

he "made a gap?" Did you do IPR(sanding between the teeth) For me IPR gaps closed within a few days typically.

Lots of orthodontists ignore the molar at the very back on each quadrant. Initially I was going to keep my wisdom teeth and they were out of the loop per se. Ended up getting them yanked out though so all my chompers are braced now.
