I had impressions taken immediately after the braces came off and picked up retainers a week later. There had been a little movement in that time, but nothing the retainers couldn't address.
Kirjax, your teeth look great.

Well, the emergency tagline certainly catches one's attention, not that I'd say your situation fits that description. If you're looking for a quick fix before Christmas, then it seems lumineers/veneers are your only option. But is this really what you want to do to your teeth? I suggest you sit on a...

Over the last 30 years or so I've gone to the dentist every 6 months for a check and clean. This included the period during which I had braces. I choose not to have insurance (am in Aussie). I floss daily and did so also during my time in braces. I'd go through one Oral B superfloss thread per day. ...

I had 2 pulled the first day and 2 pulled a week later. I was home the day of and the day after each extraction. I think age has some to do with it too. I'm 32. I think it's more to do with how many you're having pulled, the complexity of the extraction (e.g. impacted wisdoms) and whether you are h...

Hi 1smoothroller, and welcome. It's quite OK to be nervous. To those who say you don't need braces, if these people are not dental professionals I wouldn't let their opinions influence you. As to whether you're having things done too close together, only your ortho can answer that one. Good luck wit...

Hi, My front six on both arches are bonded and I wear essix retainers at night. The bonded wire is very thin and barely sticks out at all. It is glued onto the back of the teeth, there are no additional wires to hold it in place. I had impressions for the essix made after the wire was attached so th...
