if you're in spacers, yes. you will eventually get molar bands and then the wires will go into those most likely. Well, just wanted to update everyone. I ended up having to go in for yet ANOTHER emergency appointment because of a poking wire (this means that the power chains really ARE doing their job!! ;) ) and so I just had them switch out for pearl ligs again. Hopefully I can keep them unstained for a while....

Oh...and I have a wire poking my cheek...already!! (Well, I should clarify that about an hour after I left the ortho, I SUDDENLY felt it. Why is it that I don't feel the pain when I'm there so I don't have to go back?? LOL)

I'm grasping at straws here, but how about drinking an obnoxious blue colored Kool-Aid? Yeah the stuff is gross to our adult taste, but that stuff is so brightly colored it might stain the ligs a bit. I'm thinking you may need to hold it in your mouth awhile in order for it to permeate. Just got a '6 chain'-er and so far, just slight pressure, but more so from getting the copper ni-ti wire, which is a much heavier grade than the starting wire. Just waiting for the pain because it's been MY experience to have discomfort if there's even a possibility of it. Darn sensitive mouth!! And...

here we go...using the flash...it sort of gets closer to what it looks like, but obviously not QUITE as bright...it's more a VIBRANCY of the color that's annoying me. So, I got new ligs put on today...and I chose this aqua (more like teal/turquoise) color. I really wanted an aqua, but this was the closest they had. I thought maybe they were too dark though, so then I told the asst. I wanted the light blue instead. Then I told her what I was going for and she said...
