I really like the BraceGard in the Brace Relief Pocket Kits. I know it's like OrthoSil, but I also wish you sold BraceGard in bigger quantities. I agree with the others for bite wafers and disclosing tablets. Can't think of anything else right now. I agree. I think what makes the Braceguard nice is...

9/27 (but on high the thing could probably peel paint off the wall – don’t know how anyone can use it at that setting). Ha-ha! I've thought the same myself- it would decimate my gums! I've wondered if it can be used for a) getting extra glue off your teeth post braces, b) cleaning dentures, c) powe...

I live in the Tampa Bay area. My insurance paid $1,360. I paid $2,250. (does not include retention). I have met several adults with braces. I work with teenagers who either want braces or have them so it really hasn't been a big deal for me. My students often tell me what color they want me to choos...

12-18 months felt like forever and I know I posted my most negative post around month 16 or so when my mouth HURT and I felt trapped in my braces. I now have a little less than 2 months until everything comes off. I am really trying not to think about it because that makes the time go incredibly slow.

When I was a teen, I chewed holes in my essix within a year (I was one stressed out kid) and my lateral bite was never as good as it was with braces. I was also given a Hawley retainer but it was left in a napkin somewhere less than a week after I got it. My brother, however, is on his second Hawley...

I would use it carefully and obviously not between the teeth with spacers. I honestly thought that using warm water and baking soda really helped my gums when they were super sore those first few months. I liken it to a tooth/gum massage. Just make sure you start at one and gradually increase power ...

I concur, ortho fees are more about paying someone for their expertise. Perhaps this new ortho has had more training or uses more modern technology. I know from all my consults as well as comparing this round of braces to my first round is that there are several different ways to achieve similar mov...

I think it depends on what kind of phone people have. I have a phone made by a fruit company that also operates on wifi. I've bought tons of stuff from Amazon on it especially since I have free shipping. I often go physical shopping, find a better deal from Amazon on my phone and buy it. I think mob...

My time has arrived!
My last adjustment (crossing my fingers) was today! I have box elastics, powerchain and "steps" in my archwires (which are made from what feels like the wire they use in chain link fences)! My ortho said that I would have an eval on 11/2 and that if I was happy and he was happy, I'd have i...
