Re: refinement question

I agree with you TinySmiley, the whole treatment is not easy, sure worth it but demanding! It's frustrating going forward and do not have the clue what is going to happen next. I think a good talk with your doctor is essential, I don't care anymore if I'm bothering him since I have so many concerns ...

Re: Clincheck not like reality

First of all thanks a lot Dr. Tam for your helpful contributions to this forum. Secondly based on your reply I'd like to ask you a question: if some issues are better to be addressed during the regular treatment how this could be done if the whole set of aligners is already been created? What I'm sa...

Re: Clincheck not like reality

Hello Dr Tam and thank you for your reply. I was thinking about that something could be done with the refinements since I knew that all the aligners are done from the begin of the treatment. Can I change my aligners during the treatment or you meant additional aligners? Is this one of the reasons wh...

Clincheck not like reality

Hello all, I have a concern about my Invisalign treatment that is worrying me a lot now. My teeth are really really crocked but no only they are badly rotated so not aligned but also they crocked vertically. The slightly bend to the right side. On the clincheck it's hard to tell because the rest of ...

Re: doing the dentist/orthos job for them!

Wow! Really your dentist forgot an attachment!!? This could have compromised the movement of your tooth! I had attachments fitted during my treatment and even changed their shape sometimes. How often do you go to your dentist/ortho? I go at least once a month, so I guess it's easier to remember some...

Re: Invisalign affecting bite??

Hello  It's really weird that the Invisalign can jutting your lower jaw out...with the first trays? Due to the aligners of course your mouth doesn't close perfectly, at the end you have plastic on your teeth!! I found a strange feeling the first time I wore my aligner about my bite too but ...

That's a great thing to have! My dentist is in Markham too but I'm not sure he's aware of these options for his patients...

Thanks!

How can I get my clincheck?

Hi all, I asked my dentist to have my clincheck so I can see by myself how my teeth are going to change during my treatment with invisalign. He told me that is not possible to have the clincheck because the file format is readable only with a specific software that he uses with the Invisalign aligne...

Most probably I'm giving you a silly answer so...forgive me if I didn't understand your question. You should brush your teeth as soon as possible and get back on your aligner! Regardless what you eat or drink, your teeth should be perfectly clean when you wear the aligner. Don't you know how h...

Impressions are not so bad at the end :?

Wait to have your aligner with the edge that sticks out and cut your lips every time you talk...for days...and then your impressions will look very very easy ;)

As far as I understood attachments are needed where there is a difficult tooth to be moved or very crooked teeth spot. So maybe your ortho has seen your teeth and realized that they are not so bad in front. Good luck! You'll see that when you'll wear invisalign you'll not care anymore about attachme...

I'd definitely avoid to do that! Statistically there are many cases around the world that reported a lot of cavities during invisalign treatment, even though is required cleaning and flossing and so on. Naturally your teeth should exposed to your saliva and with invisalign they're not so it's very d...

My dentist told me that as long as the attachments are fitting in is ok for now but definitely tray #3 and tray #4 have a small gap between one of my tooth and the aligner itself. He said that most probably they don't have enough space to move since they are really crocked :( in that specific spot. ...

I just went to the dentist today and he told that the gap is because my tooth didn't move as was suppose to move :(

He told me that most probably I have to interrupt my treatment and start with refinements otherwise the other trays will not fit well :(

I'm only on the tray 4 since today :(
