i didnt get internal blehing done.. so the tooth is still a bit darker. i dunno why the dentist never gave me the option but i didnt really care. i guess i should have asked but i didnt wanna spend extra money and it really doesnt bother me. its not that noticeable.

the sensitive gum issue has resolved. but i was told by my ortho to try to brush and floss after every meal if i could. mainly because of the small gaps where te molar bands used to be, food gets trapped in there a lot easier and often. ive since turned to flossing and brushing 2-3 times a day max

i wonder abotu the molars gap closing too. the thing is that if you think about it... if you have essix retainers where the mold is of your teeth opst banding.. itll hold your teeth ONLY to that position... so theres not chance for your molars to close.. and even if you change over to nightime wear....

anyone experience sensitive/bleeding gums on their molars or near the molars where the molar bands used to be? i remmeber the assistant telling me i would run into some bleeding and sensitivity for a couple weeks post braces but yea.. im a bit concerned. i floss and brush after EVERY meal. salt wate...

thanks adantae!! ummm im on essix rite now. and was supposed to be on the vivera thereafter... im prescribed to wear my retainers full time for 3 months then nightly/evening. BUT i am probably going to opt for the bonded on the bottom for the full time periods THEN go to the vivera for overnite use....

i had a general idea of what i would expect. but as it was near debrace date it looked like my teeth werent what i envisioned them to be. i was a bit dissapointed but man, do they ever look TOTALLY different when the brackets are off!

for those who have had root canals (specificaly for their incisors) or anytime of restorative work done, post braces.. did it effect the way your retainers fit, therefore you needing to get a new mold done for a new retainer?

so no change in debanding date... my ortho said he will just adjust my retainer to accomodate for my central left incisor that is a whee off. but that same incisor i think i will need get checked out by my dentist... its a very slight grey thats not really noticeable unless you look for it.. i think...
