Try a moisturizing mouthwash. I had dry mouth in the beginning too but it seems to have gone away after about a month.

I whitened my teeth before getting braces. Now that I have braces on, I can't really tell the difference, so might as well whiten after.

I use a regular floss. I'm loving Dr Tung's smart floss. That floss gets everything out! How do you get it under your wires? Or are in you in Invisalign? I have regular metal braces. I honestly haven't really had much pain since getting my braces. I'm 2 months in. But I do have high pain tolerance.

That said, last appointment was kinda brutal tho, I had poking wires and blood ulcers. But nothing to the point where I need to take painkillers.

I have a few that I rotate depending on my mood. Currently rotating between eos, kiehl's butterstick, glam glow poutmud and chanel hydra beauty.

I rotate between sensodyne, colgate and fluocaril.

I got a travel kit consisting of:

- Travel toothbrush
- Regular size toothbrush
- 1 box of wax
- Floss
- A small pack of floss threaders
- An hour glass for me to time myself when brushing

My ortho estimated 18 months. I'm 2 months in now.

I've tried bright red, light purple and now black. So far, I'm really digging the black. It looks classy and most importantly, does not stain!

My ortho took an xray of the side of my head in addition to the panoramic one. I think it's called the cephalometric xray.
