I have mine in for the past three months and something and I never bite into anything. My ortho told me to not bite into anything with my front teeth until I get my braces out :S

I had to wait two weeks after my consult to get my prognosis. Then I had to wait three weeks after that to get fitted. I had to get a filling and remove a tooth...so that's why I had to wait so long.

My progress to me have been amazing!!! I almost can't believe it. My ortho forbid me from having regular tea (lipton and the like) due to heavy increase of staining. Someone recommended green tea, does this do the same damage?

Soooooo....today was yet another adjustment. I, a few days ago, commented on someone's post re: no excitement going on. Well, did I talk too fast. Today my top archwire was changed to something supposedly stronger. It has these two weird hook thingies that keeps trapping my top lip every time I smil...

I've had mine a few months and haven't had that much excitement....my bottom teeth are playing around each other and making spaces and that's about it. I wait to see what takes place at my next adjustment.

Ohhhh yessss....you are so right. I stare at people's teeth regularly now. It's a braces thing...

Regading people looking away, I can't say I have noticed because I am usually one to not keep eye contact for too long. But I really haven't noticed it.

Well my teeth were crowded before and I had to extract one of the bottom front middle ones. The space have closed...but now i realise the teeth are like hanging in limbo....sometimes i see a space....sometimes i dont :/ I guess that's normal...I have an adjustment thursday and would post pics for yo...

Tell me about it Mike. I had another adjustment yesterday and now I am heavily using wax...lol....I have in a lilac colour, but miss my bright green :( . My progress have really really surprised me, I cant wait for the end result :) In the mean time, will post pics later when I get home from the off...

I really can't say, but I have not lost weight anywhere else really to talk about. I am naturally slim, but with high, full cheeks/cheek bones. Now I have to up on the blush to make them look as plump As I mentioned, my face narrowed out quite a bit :S

My face have changed and at first I thought I looked ugly. I was in tears many days, but what I realized is that I just needed to get accustomed to my new face. I do look different, but not in a bad way.
