Phew! 2 visits to the ortho in 2 days (she probably thinks I am the biggest pain!) Had the loose bracket and back bit of wire cut off, will probably have it put back on when I go in for my first adjustment.

My mouth feels loads better

I can't believe how quick that was! I'll feel much better when I go for my first adjustment after seeing that.

Congrats on getting braced

Although chewing is still a bit strange I managed my first non-mush meal tonight (curry), hang in there!

Wow! That's a huge amount of movement in 1 month. I hope mine get moving that quickly. With that much movement I'm sure your teeth will be ready for lowers to go on in June.

I too am feeling a little discouraged, had my linguals (upper and lower) put on yesterday and am feeling quite sorry for myself! Can only manage to eat soup and my mouth is throbbing. It's my birthday next week, will I be able to eat out? Solid food seems quite scary right now!
