What would you do??
So a quick backstory. Finished Invisalign treatment about about 9 months ago and was pretty happy with the results. Since then I’ve realized I think there is a slight gap between the tips of my front teeth and not completely satisfied with my upper arch as it is not completely round. I called my doc...

Re: clear or metal?
When I had ceramics they were pretty discreet at first as I was pretty self conscious and honestly didn’t want anyone to know but what are you gonna do. By like the third month in I had a thick metal wire. Metal ties around the brackets and the brackets were all laced together so it was basically al...

Total Frustration
So about just under a year ago my girlfriend decided to take the plunge and get braces a few months after me as she noticed how quickly time was going bye and liked the changes my smile was making. She is super self conscience and wanted Invisalign but the ortho said it wouldn’t be the best idea due...

Final results??
So this is my final result after 24 trays. I have a few concerns where I'm not sure if I'm being crazy about some or just trying to get as close to perfection as possible. -First is I seem to have developed a cross bite as time had gone on. My front teeth used to align perfectly with the middle of t...

Re: Invisalign to Braces
In my treatment my ortho stated that if the results you want can't be achieved with Invisalign then you can get braces to help achieve the result you want

Re: Has this happened to anyone?
I would bet that your attachments were set to be removed before that tray would fit into place. I know mine will be like that where I have to go back before the last 2 trays

Re: Feeling Mislead
So the girlfriend went to her first adjustment last week and asked about the tubes on her molars and about her brackets and everything else that was bothering her. The ortho had said the molar tubes are there in case they need them later in treatment. When we asked to elaborate on that he said we'll...

Re: Advice on my situation?
While some of the math might not add up it's possible your ortho gave you estimated time while changing your tray every 2 weeks. Just recently invisalign stated that they saw no difference in outcomes changing the trays every week now as opposed to 2. So might explain why he has you changing them we...

Re: Feeling Mislead
Thanks for all the replies! After 3 days of refusing to leave she finally made it out of the house. Convinced her it was about her attitude towards them and took her out to grab drinks and get her mind away. Get to a place and she gets ID'ed for the first time in over 5 years. I thought it was hyste...

Feeling Mislead
So I recently started treatment with invisalign not to long ago and my girlfriend had made a joke about how I'd end up with straighter teeth than her due to her having 2 or 3 teeth slightly crooked. I made a comment back about how she should get them fixed too and we would be in this together. A few...

Re: How many attachments before you wish you had normal braces
I have 21 attachments including my front teeth and was torn between invisalign and ceramic braces and now having the amount and location of them I kinda wish I did the ceramic and saved a few extra bucks and taken the shorter treatment time

1. 24 trays so about 24 weeks minus the refinement
2. $6500
3. Invisalign
4. Minor lower crowding and small gap between front teeth

Day 1
Got my invisalign on today for one tooth just a little crooked and a small gap between by 2 front teeth. 30 minutes and 20 attachments later I am on the road to a straighter smile. I will say I was extremely taken back when they said 20 attachments. I was really trying to look discreet and now have ...
