Oh. I just figured out what this is. I feel so silly. There is no elastic above the brackets. It’s the o-ties. My o-ties go from one bracket to another. Definitely didn’t see it like that They are stretched right across to the next tooth. No wonder a couple snap as she puts them on lol

I’m hoping my front teeth will level out sometime soon. I am happy with my progress so far though. I think it’s made a big difference. My smile is definitely wider, and the teeth are straighter by a long shot.

I had an adjustment today. There’s an elastic that runs above my brackets. Does anyone know what that does??? This is my first stainless steel wire if that matters.
