Re: Sunshiney Saga

If it makes you feel any better, I have broken 1 bracket and every single power chain I've had (which has been every month but the first 2!). I'm sure my ortho wonders what on earth I do to them!

Hang in there with the no change. I felt like mine stayed the same for eternity through the middle.

Re: Beckyboo in Braces

Progress is looking fantastic  Lol, I think I've had zing string for the last 4 months. Nerida chain I think my ortho called it but mine only comes in clear (which turns yellow in a week-boo). Hearing you on the elastics! I'm in mega heavy duty one's right now! Hope they're not causing you ...

It's been good to read your updates :) My bite changed pretty quickly a few times, sometimes even as early as the afternoon of a morning wire change. Hope the pain has eased up!

Re: Tobilei's Train Tracks.

Hi all :) It's been forever since I've been here! To those of you who checked in, thank you! I apologize for my absence. In November I had an IV iron infusion due to non existent iron stores and had a really severe reaction to it. I was violently ill for 8 weeks straight and am still trying to get t...

Re: Lig colours (colors)

Would someone with smoke, silver, and/or grey ligatures on ceramic brackets post a picture? Seems like the concencus is that they look clear or barely there when stretched around the bracket but do not turn an ugly bright yellow. I have an adjustment on Wednesday & several events to attend this...

Yay for finally looking at debanding! I can't imagine going in and being told mine are going to be on a WHOLE lot longer than I was expecting! They were looking awesome in your last set of photo's though so no doubt worth it :)

Re: How much do you pay for your wax?

You have to buy it?!?! Mine hands me like 5 containers of it with 5 strips in every container every time I go. I have a collection of it (too bad you're not in Australia or I'd post you some!). To buy it here is about $5-$6 AUD for the same amount.

Re: Sunshiney Saga

I've somehow missed your last 3 updates!!!???!! Wow!! They are looking fabulous!!! Glad you're still not really getting any pain or bother :) I still don't like mine either, but I don't hate them quite as much as when I first got them on. Good luck with the bathroom reno's!

Re: My braces are off!!! Essex retainers in place!!

Congratulations! They look fantastic!!!! Can't comment on the sore teeth thing, mine are still firmly encased within their prison bars. My daughter got her retainer recently and said she felt no pain but she didn't complain at all in 18 months of treatment (unlike me).

Re: Tobilei's Train Tracks.

Haha, I'm too scared to ask now on account of I think he got a bit annoyed with me going back in with the swelling (which he said he couldn't see but both my husband and I can still see some of it there!) I'm sure I won't be able to help myself though. He mostly tells me things are looking good or w...
