I think I've had a dream about teeth falling, out but I can't recall.
I did have a dream recently though that my top teeth moved too far one way so that my front teeth were actually off to the side.

My first ortho adjustment went pretty well. They put a thicker wire on the bottom and then my top four front teeth they put a zing string on. The zing string crisscrosses before going around the next brackets so it looks like little x's between each of my teeth. The second it was pulled tight I coul...

I had the day off of work when I got braced so that I could get used to them. Before going I took some pain medication and after being braced my husband and I went out to lunch and I got super frustrated so I only ate about half of what I got (a tuna wrap). Then I went and ran errands for about 8 ho...

(pulled the wire out of the back bracket, but was easily able to push it back in). That is my case, the wire is fully intact, just pulled out of the bracket. I think I can get it back in if I cool the wire down. Once done, did you have to go in to the ortho for them to do anything further? I got an...

Lig/O-Ring Fell Off

I was brushing my teeth after lunch, and I went to rinse off my toothbrush when I saw something silver sticking out of it. I thought it was some part of my food at first and wonder what they would have put in myfood I went in for closer inspection and noticed it was one of my ligs. I pulled it out o...

I eat chips with no problems. Somtimes have to break them up into smaller pieces, and they get stuck everywhere. I've eaten salad croutons without damaging anything (pulled the wire out of the back bracket, but was easily able to push it back in). I've been kinda adventurous with food and braces, if...

landela , how did you swing an 8 month estimate?!!? I'm so jealous, you got your braces after me but will be debraced before me! My teeth weren't really too bad (I have a few pics posted in my story thread and I plan on adding more tonight when I'm at home and not at work). I had a 40% overbite (I ...

Well, I have not been given an early relase date (I've only had braces for 6 weeks, so I'm not into the process enough to get an earlier date), but I was given a surprisingly short treatment time - 8 months...so I've only got 6.5 months left! Yay!

Umm...well, maybe this will make you feel a little better... I also got braces to close the gap in my top two front teeth and to correct an overbite. my two front teeth have straightened out and moved together, so that gap is almost closed, but one of the teeth next to my front teeth has moved furth...

My insurance pays all but $1500 of my bill.
So I am paying the $1500 over 8 months with no interest through my ortho.

I have one bracket that is kind of slanted looking, but I suppose that is to pull the tooth up more since the tooth itself is slanted (I guess...), so it is actually placed in the center of my tooth, but it looks off to me. I also have another bracket that is placed more towards the back of my tooth...

I use a sonicare toothbrush and I probably take about 3 minutes to brush my teeth. I generally will do above the brackets at an angle and below at an angle. This way it gets down in the wire. As i'm finishing up I will brush the surface of the brackets too. I know I wasn't very descriptive, but I ho...
