Totally jumping the gun here as I don't even have my brace yet lol. But anyway - how long did you take off work after your operation? After my 18 months or so of braces I will be having double jaw surgery so just wondering about timescales for revovery for work. Thanks in advance.

Glad you've had some positive feedback op. I'm 37 & getting braces in december so you're a good few years ahead of me!!

Great ortho visit today to get final "before" pics & sign my consent forms. Will be getting my braces on 17th december and I'm delighted with the date - all my christmas parties will be over & done! Excited!

Hi all, I'm 37 and waiting to get braces - I have an appointment on monday so I may be a metal mouth next week! Feeling excited! First step on the long road before double jaw surgery. Good to hear everyone's experiences and I'll share mine as & when there's anything to report! X
