wow, that's a lot. I'm on 4 of 6 uppers and going to #5 tonight at bedtime. I have brackets on my lowers and prefer them as they are less of a hassle in general. So you've done a major job! Congratulations and best of luck for a smooth finish.

I have invisalign uppers and brackets lower. I only have two trays to go so we'll see how the end result is, but I'm willing to do some bracketed finishing if warranted, but I don't want more trays as they are very restrictive to be effective.

Wow way to go! Back in the days before cable, a kid with headgear was a great asset to the family as TV reception was better when you hooked him up to the antenna circuit. Just wondering if your cell range is better? (lol, joking...no dude don't pound me...arrrrrggggghhhhh)

I'm on tray 4 of 6. Just had adjustment # 3 today. Al lis going well I'm told. However, if I am not pleased at the end of tray 6 it ismy intention to go metal and not keep on with invisalign. It is not more comfortable just differently uncomfortable. And I don''t care if it is not noticable. It is a...

At 50+ my teeth are far from pearly white. However, I keep em clean and shiny, and will whiten when the brackets come off. Care as best you can, and ask your ortho or tech what they suggest.

Just wanted to add after a few days, although these aligners feel smooth, the edges can certainly irritate the insides of your mouth just as much as any bracket or wire.

Tray three

The first two trays were installed at the ortho's office because both came with work: a button or a dib of reprox. But tray three was on my own. I decided to put it in at bed time. It was quite tight, and remains so today, but the fact that I slept undisturbed meant I got 6 hours work done without t...

you said" I have done a little research about invisalign and am a bit apprehensive about it since I have read many stories about how they don't work, are more expensive, cause other problems/lisp.Also, although I am feeling self concious about braces, I would almost rather have real braces beca...

Self ligating brackets have little clip gates that hold in and lock down the arch wire without use of elastic ligatures, so if you wanted funky colors, you don't really want to go with self ligating. There are several brands, mine are GAC Inovation R, Damon makes some etc. They tend to be smaller th...
