Hello Everyone, Well, today was the day. I went in for my appointment. I will have some attachments, but none on my front 4 teeth, so that is great news! I will also have a little bit of IPR on some oversized crowns. They want to do IPR on one of my front teeth, they say it is a wee bit bigger than ...

Re: Introduction! New to board
Hello Ladies! I am a 40 something as well and totally understand the desire for the process to be discreet! This is my second time around as well, first time I had metal, and this time I will be doing invisalign. It is completely normal to want to improve your appearance no matter what your age! And...

Re: Getting implants and curious about everyone else's experience!
Hi. I have an implant. I would be happy to share my experience with you. It was not bad at all and I would do it again, if needed. The worst part was the cost. About 4,500 not including the restoration crown. f you've gotten implants: 1) Did they put you under? Laughing gas or something to relax you...

I did it!
Hello Everyone! I have been a lurker on the board for many years trying to decide what to do about my ever shifting teeth. My Journey has been a long one, and yesterday I signed my contract and had my scan done for invisalign! I am excited, and a bit nervous as well. I guess I will be less of a lurk...

I just posted in another thread about this procedure. I recently had my social 6 done. I was slanted and low on one side. I had laser surgery by my regular dentist, it was pretty painless, not too unsightly and healed in a few days. He leveled and cleaned up the whole gum line for about $300. I am t...

Well, I am about 30 days in. I have been wearing the hawley16 hours 4 days a week and 24 hours 3 days a week. I don"t wear it to work. I am pleased to say that my left central is back in line with the other teeth now, so it looks a lot better. The homemade "bite plate" that I fashione...

introduction
I am new to the forum. I wanted to introduce myself and tell my story. I was a thumb sucker until the age of 12. That caused my arch to narrow and caused a bad cross bite and slightly gappy buck teeth. I had a RPE to correct my bite when I was 14. although I still had a slightly crooked mouth and ga...
