They removed the chain base in a similar way as they do your brace brackets. They use snippers to trim the chain as your tooth moves down. Xx

Ooo I was a nail biter!! Can't do it now, it just hurts my teeth and where the teeth move I can't find a "comfortable spot". I think after a year the habit is broken! I have Easter bunnies painted on my nails ATM having pretty fingers is way more rewarding than munching on them xxx

Heya john, I had mine attached last March and now my tooth is very close to being in place I'm 28, I did wonder if it would move as I figured it hadn't come down before so didn't really think the brace would make much difference but it soon went on the move. I hope yours is as successful x
