Nope. Definitely don't fiddle with the brackets. But when I first got braces, I sure did run my upper lip over the brackets alot. Not outta boredom. It just felt weird and I couldn't help myself.

I haven't used the pro-health stuff but I was suprised by ellebraced's post. Brown spots being a sign of a mouthwash working is weird to me. Anyway, I use phosphlur mouthwash @ night, which was recommended by my ortho. I also use listerine in the mornings. As for toothpaste, I use colgate total.
