you may want to find a neuromuscular doc.
THey hook you up to all kinds of computers to find the most muscularly relaxed position of you jaw and then theey build your bite to it.

yes tomos are better but thery are also way more expensive and are often overkill.

yeah that is the frenum.

sounds like you need a bit of gingevectomy/crown lengthening, perhaps in conjunction with a frenectomy.

more like the x-ray at the dentist.

They use a contracption to get a good angle on the joint and then use the regular x-ray head.

a tomogram is more involved

it is a film of the jaw joint.

They use it to determine the positon of the head of the jaw bone in its fossa. This can help detemine if this position needs to be changed.

hard to see but I guess it is a variation on what is called a scaler.
I cant really recomend "self dentistry" since I have seen so much go wrong.
If you are gonna use this thing just be careful, use a light touch and stay away from your gums.

invisalign will tell you if they can do the case.
You must be borderline for invisalign.

As far as asking lower incisor vs. non ext I supose invisalign could be asked.
SOmetimes you need to extract a lower incisor though
