I have received mixed reactions from men since being braced. Some guys are completely put off by braces, whereas others don't seem to mind. Having braces has definitely put a damper on dating life, but that's only because I let it. I have met some really great guys that don't care at all that I have...

The novelty has already faded and I am only a little more than 5 months in. So, props to you if you're just beginning to feel this way at 15 months. The only thing that you can tell yourself is that " it will be worth it in the end," same thing you've been telling yourself all along I'm su...

Sometimes you find that you fear something and this fear is unrationnal, may it be with archnids or with anything else. Experiences may help to realise that a fear was ... hrmm let's say "just a fear" and that this reaction wasn't that necessary, and now doors are open and you may encoute...

I have Damon 3's. So, my first 6 ( on top arch) are half clear, half metal. And the rest on the top arch, and the bottom arch are full metal. I was really torn between getting ceramics or going with metal. But I went with metal because they cut treatment time and work faster. And, I just wanted to g...

If you are getting ceramic braces, then yes I would whiten before your braces are applied. Ceramic braces look a lot better on whiten teeth, and make them less noticeable. If you are getting metal braces then I say no. It's pointless in my opinion. I would just wait to whiten after your braces are r...

I wasted a year trying to get lingual braces. I was 100 percent against getting metal ones. I too had retained my baby canines and had impacted canines. My canines though started to come down by themselves but were behind the baby ones. Every ortho that I found on the ibraces website that had taken ...

Ugh I know how you feel! The place I was working at closed down so I was laid off with no warning. I have gone on a couple interviews since then and feel like I am giving off a "complain" attitude just because I am not all smiley and laughing like I usually am. I try to tell myself come on...

Rotating Teeth

Generally speaking, how do ortho's rotate teeth? What tools/techniques are used to get the tooth rotated to its proper position?

And do you need to go the tooth aligned first, before you rotate it?
