Wow I had no idea 6 month braces existed. How the heck to do they cut down treatment time 6 to 12 mo or more? And why don't all braces do this? This seems like a huge breakthrough in the braces industry.

I'm bored too, haven't seen any movement and absolutely no soreness after my first wire change, which to me confirms, no movement. My excitement over the past 7 days has been my new waterpik! It's so fun! I am a hygiene nerd.

Thankfully I love Mexican food and it is pretty much braces friendly. I have to eat tacos with a fork but that's ok. At home I find I mostly eat whole grain or wheat tortillas and guac with some hot green chilie. Almost every day. Wholly guacamole is yummy.

In the end, traditional brackets, whether metal or ceramic, Damon or not, essentially do the same thing. If you were comparing brackets to Invasalign there'd be more differnces to evaluate.
