I am lucky in that my dentist is good at bonding so it looks very natural. No one can ever tell. I would ask to see some photos first... in my case he'd done bonding on one of my siblings and veneers on two others, so I knew how it would look. I've only had them for .. ummm... must be nearly two yea...

Re: Thanks for all the replies.
My dentist quoted the price of $ 3700 for having 6 veeners on top. That's a pretty good price. My dentist quoted $1000 per tooth, and that's about average around here. I went with bonding on the four front teeth (to fix wearing/chipping) and it looks great... perhaps I was just lucky enough to find...

Bah - kookaburras don't have teeth! It might work on the Tasmanian devils though (the real ones, not that stupid cartoon) - they have serious teeth... I must admit when you said 'Australian wire' and described the size I had visions of the stereotypical Aussie farmer out on a sheep station in the mi...

I had mine done by a dentist, but I only had partial braces (12 teeth on the top, nothing on the bottom). My dentist said he would be happy to refer me to an ortho, and if I wanted to go the full braces option he would insist I go to an ortho. The full braces option also included lower jaw surgery (...

Your only problem with buying through Amazon is that you'll have to get an adapter to be able to plug it in. Then factoring in shipping and the exchange rate means it may not be cheaper. www.dentalshop.com.au sells the Oral B toothbrush + oxyjet for $150, but I don't know what their postage rates ar...

Trouble is, it's about £4 a bottle and I'm currently getting through at least 4 a week!!!! 4 bottles per week!! Wow! How big are the bottles?? How often do you rinse?? I've just tried Listerine Orange, which seems to me to burn just as much but now it leaves a strange orange aftertaste too...

I'm a side and stomach sleeper (if I happen to roll over onto my back it actually wakes me up) and I never had any problems with the braces tearing my cheeks. I had a pokey wire at one point but I slapped wax on it and as soon as the teeth started moving it stopped poking. Other than that I didn't h...
