I'm in my second month and feel your frustration. It would be nice if the orthodontist would explain what movements they're trying to achieve; I have no idea what's going on in my mouth right now.

I look forward to:
Flossing freely
Being able to close my lips without forcing them closed
Putting on bright red lipstick
Chewing gum

I had 2 upper wisdom and 4 premolars extracted at one ago under LA. Then braces on by the 6th day. I would say get it done with at one go.
