I think it's pretty normal to sometimes take a couple of weeks to get sore. I have a button tied to a nearby tooth and it took 2 weeks to feel any soreness. One day I woke up and yowza!

Hope it gets better soon.

Molar aches & headaches

For the last couple of weeks it seems as if my molars have been aching a bit. Almost everyday I find myself with a headache, as well. Do you think these are related? Anyone else have braces-related headaches? :?

My appointment is Friday, July 25. I'm guessing I'll be good to go back to work on Monday (?)

Thanks for all the advice, everyone. I'm still nervous, but at least they gave me a valium to take first.

I have a button on a rotated tooth and it fits right under my tongue. It really bothered me for about a week. I went through tons of wax. Now I don't even notice it and forget its there most of the time. My button is tied to the bracket of the nearest tooth to try to pull it in. I just got it re-tie...

My really ugly rotated tooth. That and my dental insurance added adult orthodontia.

P.S. It's got a button on it now. Just got it re-tied yesterday. I get a bracket on Aug 5! 8)

Impacted wisdom teeth

Okay...so I've put it off for years and I finally have to get it taken care of. I went for my oral surgery consult today for my wisdom teeth. Since they're impacted I'm going the "put me to sleep" route. Anyone got any tips or info on how this goes? Is it as horrible as I think it'll be? *...

I'm starting to wonder if it's a child's brush. The head is so small and very compact.

That's a great site, Meryaten. I guess I'm still in Phase 1.

I still find those archwire stiffness, strength, range references confusing.
