another invisalign going metal

OK I am "done" with the invisalign. (6 trays upper arch only) We are not totally pleased with the end result, although it is pretty good. (canine rotation issue) The ortho gave two options...new molds, new trays for refinements, but said he could get faster results with better configuration using br...

Tomorrow's the end

What does that really mean?? I done with the last tray. Will that be all? refinements? Wires? How long till the retainer gets here? Does the end mean more of the same? I'll let you all know as soon as I find out.

I have invisalign uppers and metal brackets lower. Of the two I have prefered the metal. I am on my last tray of the uppers (only 6) and if I need refinements (and it is looking as if I will) they will be done with traditional brackets not Invisalign. I'm tired of the hassle. I'll let ya know whats'...

No. I intend to keep taking care of my teeth, but that's not a change or resolution. The decision to get braces last year was more a vernal equinox resolution than a new year's one.

I've had one tooth done with each adjustment as things come into line. The amount has been minimal and very effective.

last tray

So got tray six for the uppers (my last before retainers) and had reprox and powerchain on lower bracketed arch. Once again TIGHT is the word and this is the tightest so far. Ortho said 4 weeks for this tray and then wear it 16 hours a day for two weeks, letting things really settle in before retent...

the answer of course is found in redneck literature:

if it moves and shouldn't--duct tape

if it doesn't move and should--WD40

I'm going to loose this one too.

12 self ligating brackets and arch wire on lower. Invisalign upper (and only 6 trays at that).

That's all.

anyone else try this?

Probably we all do but: When the ortho gives me a new set of trays and puts one in right there, it is a sore day for sure, but if I put in a new tray at night and sleep with it, the next day is not bad at all. So if you are doing your changes first thing in the morning, consider a night time change ...
