iBorg - Thank you, I'm happy with my decision. My lips are still figuring out how to move over my teeth. This bonded lower is still taking me some getting used to. I keep playing with it.

I would call and ask if I should stop the elastics for now. I had a toothache on one tooth and I was worried it was a cavity, ended up, the tooth just needed a break. After a month off it was ready to go again.

Totally normal, I had to sign a waiver just to get a cleaning for the possibility of tooth loss, and infections. At my office we have waiver for general anesthesia and the possibility of death and what not. Not that it happens, but not every one person reacts the same to any type of treatment.

Andromeda, these are non-metal. The ones you had were the teflon coated metal ones where the coating could chip away and still be left with a metal wire showing.

I was looking up custom retainers and fell upon this website about clear archwires and retainer wires. I was going to bring this to the attention of my ortho and maybe he'll let me be his testee for this material.
