Suetemi-it does feel weird when you start chewing-almost like your not actually chewing.but once your jaws get use to chewing again its great :D i did worry that i may do damage but i think you get so hungry after a few weeks you wont care about any fears you will just want to eat a proper meal...LOL

after 6 weeks i had the go ahead to eat what ever i liked-however i did cheat and starting eating burgers ,sandvwiches at 5 weeks... :oops:

i can understand your frustration-having surgery is the next big step in your journey.I so wanted mine out the way -However as much as im glad its done its a slow process afterwards .i m not that far off 2 months and things are so much better but my bite still needs alittle work ,i still cant smile ...

Fuzzy pants -thanks for answering my grimace question-i am pleased that im not the only one who couldnt smile-i have not been given any special exercises to do but i do chew ,yawn and kiss so my jaw is getting alot of movement as is my lips-i do see an improvement slowly but i still look strange :(
