Re: To be concerned or not to that is the question?

So I was able to go in on 24 October and they replaced the bracket in back. Turns out that it may actually be working on something as the pain was pretty bad in the back there the next morning. I looked in the mirror and seen that the molar has actually rotated slightly.

Re: To be concerned or not to that is the question?

it's the last bracket on the molar band and I believe they call it a buccal tube so essentially the wire isn't tied down but does go through a tube like a guidance for the wire. Kind of like the last bracket on the molar in this photo: one to the far right of this photo http://c2.thejournal.ie/media...

Re: Seeking advice on restarting TMJ treatment

That's a negative, they told me they don't think I would need it while in treatment.

Re: How does everyone deal with tmj symptoms while in braces

I'm also in braces for my TMJ and have noticed the same thing. I Already lost track how long I've already had been back in braces but I have already noticed alot more popping of the jaw when I yawn and or chew and becomes very annoying.

Re: Bracket came off - day 4

Can't be as bad as me.... I had my second adjustment ' Yesterday ' and lastnight when I got home from work at 2300 I was eating some biscuits and gravy. After I finished eating I went to clean up the mess and as I opened my mouth the back molar bracket popped off. I called today 10/10/2018 at 0900 a...

Re: Invisalign and TMJ

I have gotten several and I do mean several consultations with many orthodontists and 1 out of 9 said that they would be able to treat me with invisalign but it wouldn't be the greatest of all results and that I would likely spending more time with invisalign then I would with traditional braces.

Re: Teeth Sensitivity With Braces

I would say that everyone is different some adjust well to sensitivity and improves over the months/years and others don't improve at all... I know when I went for an adjustment it was only 2 weeks after my last one that they had to reposition a couple brackets and it hurt like hell. So hopefully th...

I like the colors SDFD. I haven't ventured past silver or black this time around yet. Hope your concerns are addressed quickly and painlessly! P.S. I'm also a retreatment case and have an implant for a congenitally missing premolar. Fortunately, my tmj issues did not return. All the Best, Jethro Th...

Re: Need some advice

Things get worse before they get better at least that's what I tell myself. I got braces to see if it helps with my TMJ issues and at first it seemed like it was horrible than it started getting better. Time will tell.
