Re: Day 1 - don't think I can do this!!

Hi all, I thought I would update you after my massive amount of moaning! So less than 2 weeks in and I am feeling so much better. I still don't like them but I am learning to eat and talk better and I'm not so self conscious. I am actually feeling quite proud of myself for going through with it and ...

Re: Day 1 - don't think I can do this!!

Ok, I need to buck my ideas up because I'm annoying myself with the moaning! I have done this myself, it was my choice and for a reason so I'm going to give it a month. If things have not significantly improved within that time frame then these buggers are coming off!

Re: Day 1 - don't think I can do this!!

I hear what you are all saying and I appreciate your words of encouragement but I'm on day 5 now and feeling no better. I hate them so much, almost to the point where I'm depressed about it. I feel like going back and asking them to just remove them,I can't do this. Food is such an effort, I almost ...

Smaller alternatives to Waterpik?

I am looking to buy a water flosser but the Waterpik system is way too big and bulky, I have no space for it.

Any smaller, perhaps cordless alternatives which are as powerful /good?

Thanks

Re: Benefits of a waterpick

Is Waterpik the best one to get? There are lots of different brands (and prices) so I don't know which one to get.

Any advice? (I'm in the UK if that makes a difference)

Re: Day 1 - don't think I can do this!!

My teeth feel 'itchy' if that makes any sense, anyone else had that?

Is that because of the movement or because I'm not cleaning properly?

Re: Day 1 - don't think I can do this!!

I have to say, reading that it does get better from people who have gone through it is the only thing helping at the moment so thank you!

Day 3 and this is the worst pain wise so far!

Re: Day 1 - don't think I can do this!!

You guys are great but I'm so miserable right now and wondering why the hell I'm putting myself through this. My biggest problems at the moment are the built up molars, means that none of my teeth meet and I can't actually chew. The top lip not going over the top braces. I feel, sound, look like a ...

[quote="flowers4kelly"]I am at 2 weeks today. Day 1, I thought, what the freak have I done to myself?
