Re: Lower Jaw + Genio for overbite now looks like slight underbite?
Well it's still to early to judge your bite, i think. You're in the middle of your journey and maybe they'll correct everything with orthodontics. That's how it was for me. They brought my lower jaw forward just like yours. When i was a few weeks post-op my lower jaw was still set back. After over-u...

Re: 8 months post op w/ photos
Well, in the area i live jaw surgeries are not covered by insurance. There're hospitals and private hospitals. You can get it done in a normal hospital for free but then you should wait for years because just a little amount of hospitals are able to do jaw surgery. In a private hospital, well, you'l...

Re: 8 months post op w/ photos
Actually it's just a few mm but in jaw surgery it makes a visible difference. My surgeon and my ortho don't listen to me. It's hard to find another surgeon because i'm out of budget and i can't afford another jaw surgery. Class2geo; i wish you good luck for your upcoming surgery. Of course my result...

Re: Does my face look right after surgery?
I can totally understand you. You look like you force your lips to meet up really much. It's not like looking bad but closing your mouth is something balance the face. After surgery i ended up with a similar result. And my surgeon does not accept the fact something went wrong and for him i have the ...

Re: 8 months post op w/ photos
thank you snapdresser for your comment. Actually if i can keep my lips closed like in the Picture, it wouldn't be so much problem. But it gives me pain and it won't stay that way more the a few seconds even if i push it. I didn't share my whole face because when my droopy mouth combines with my holl...

Re: 8 months post op thinking revision

I told him that everyone i see can close their lips naturally without forcing it but '' I CAN'T '' He ...

Re: After how long you regained feeling in the lower lip?
For me i could feel my lower lip even just after the surgery. But the area under my eyes and my cheeks, nose, gums, tongue were numb. My tongue and upper palatte regained feeling after 4-5 months op. It's normal to feel numb even after a long time. I'm 8 months post op and still have partial numbnes...

Re: hate post op at 4 months, will it get better?
I'm really sorry because you had to go through this. Actually after 4 months you cannot expect major changes. At least that's how it was for me. I noticed that even in the 4 months mark, i had a little sweelling but it's not something changed my face too much. Hope you can manage to be happy after a...

Re: Post surgery nose swelling- is this swelling?
Hey, how is your nose now? Some asymmetry on the nose is due to swelling and it goes away after a few months. However, if your nose has turned to one side and you cannot breathe through one of your nostrils, then it may be due to a deviated septum. After my jaw surgery i had the same problem. My nos...

I don't know exactly but as far as i know from my experience, it took 6 months to see the exact result. But the changes are not so much. Just a little change maybe only you can see. After 3 months the changes are so little

Hey, i can't believe that i receive more answers! It made me happy. Jaime; i want to consult with another surgeon but i can't be able to spend same amount of money again. Anyway, i'll just talk with another one just to get an opinion. Also i'd like to join that topic too, i will read now. And i'll s...
