Re: Need advise regarding poking wire
may sound weird but a bit of pencil eraser might work.if not the best way to get the wax to stick is completely dry it off back there and use a big gob of the wax around both the back bracket and wire thats sticking out all in one, the bracket will help the wax stay put.hope this helps!

I have to wait a lot longer than normal bonding (I can't believe some people get their braces the same day they get their records done!) and is mor...

Re: Getting braces in three weeks - any advice for a newbie?
eat all the crunchy/hard foods and candies you can now! once your braces are on its goodbye for the entirety of your treatment time.its been the hardest part for me i can't wait to be allowed chips, nuts, candies like snickers and butterfingers again and all the other crunchy stuff I'm not allowed. ...

Re: Permanent retainers after treatment complete?

23 & FINALLY braced! I've only waited 13+ years...
From as far back into my childhood as i can remember I've always struggled with how my teeth looked. They were big, EXTREMELY crooked on top with a very rotated canine and deep overbite. I was teased by a few people throughout grade school and was seen by an orthodontist once around the age of 12 wh...
