Re: One week with my aligners!

Thank you! :)

My poor partner's getting sick of me announcing before each meal that I have to take my teeth out. HEHEHEH.

Acceledent ok for bone loss?

I have 42 aligners and even before I knew it'd be this long in treatment, I was interested in using acceledent. The two things that put me off are: 1. The cost. Something like $2,000 on top of the $7,200 I already paid! 2. The fact I've got some bone loss, which is quite substantial on the bottom fr...

Does the Lisp Ever Go Away?

Has anyone had a lisp the WHOLE time of treatment? I've had my aligners for a week and my lisp is a BIT better than it was, but not much. The thing is, I had a lisp before I even got the aligners, though not a typical one. For years I have had a missing molar and a large gap on the top left side / b...

Re: How many aligners would have been too many for you

My treatment was advised to be nine months, but when I went in to get my first aligners, I saw there are now 42 of them. GULP! So that's a LONG TIME. I hope I don't get too lazy about it. Right now I'm being really good, but it's only been a week. lol. That said, if I'd known it'd take that long, I ...

Re: Invisalign attachments? Overall experience?

Yes, I saw my clincheck a few months prior to actually going in to get the attachments put on and the aligners, so I was aware of them. I'd also done research online and expected to have to have them due to the difficulty of my teeth (overbite, overjet, cross bite, gaps) I didn't know if I'd get the...

Re: Newbie needing help - Invisalign THEN braces

I wondered if they might do the same for me, but apparently invisalign alone can give me a good result. I hope so!!!! I'm a week into it so all my fingers and toes are crossed. I have an 8mm overjet / overbite also and they said invisalign can reduce it to around 5mm which right now sounds excellent...

One week with my aligners!

So I've had my "teeth" (as I call them) for a whole week now. I'm really anxious to change to my second aligner, just to be moving forward. I was told at my consultation that the treatment time will be nine months, but upon receiving my first pack of six aligners, it seems there are 42 aligners!! Th...
