Thanks! I do have a large jaw (I've always been told I have a big mouth, haha!) so we'll see what happens when I go to the ortho this week.

I'm leading up to my first consult, and it's all I can think of. I'm sure what you're feeling is natural.

Thanks Featheryy1221! Good to know the ortho won't do any work on my teeth the first appointment. Depending on how well I like this ortho I'll look into getting a second or third opinion.

I should add that even though I'm going to the orthodontist it doesn't mean my dental phobia has gone away. It's worse now cause I don't know what to expect at this first appointment.
