Flossing is definitely proving to be a challenge - only on day 2 in braces and after repeated unsuccesful attempts with threaders/plackers/floss fish I just reverted to using some of my husband's Gum soft picks to get the job done... I will resume "mastering" the other methods later today.... :)
Hi LeeAnnD... How did your "bracing" go? I got mine (Clarity SL ceramic upper and lower) yesterday too! My initial thoughts are: Having them put on was painless. Hooks, especially those on the front lower are going to take some getting used to... rubbing on inside of lower lip area and making it dif...
Hi there... It's day 2 @ 50yrs old in braces for me... and I'm struggling with the flossing issue too.... I'm just going to keep persevering - plackers/threaders/floss fish - heck something has to make it easier and quicker..... Until then, allowing plenty of extra time @ bedtime... :)
Braces going on January 2nd... Glad to see other "newbies" starting the journey.... and look forward to sharing our stories/supporting each other along the way..... BTW, anyone else out there doing braces(again) in your 40s or 50s...?
