Currently using the Sonicare "Healthy White" brush which uses the same heads as your Diamondclean. I'm planning on upgrading to the one you have - please keep us posted on how you like/find it works best :-#)

Re: Waterpik yes or no?

Absolutely 100% YES... I bought a travel Waterpik (online in the US from their website, also look on Amazon) prior to getting my braces - it's been such a great investment... In the first 2 weeks when I seriously struggled to get floss through the bulky brackets at the back, at least I was able to g...

Re: Any regrets? Newbie not so sure about this...

Hi there metalat40.... I'm sorry that you're having such a rough start. Things will get better. There's got to be a bunch of reasons why you finally got them. Maybe to improve your self esteem, or to your own teeth so you don't have to get dentures later in life, or so you're not embarrassed about y...

Re: Braces rubbing and sore question

Hi there... Just over 3 weeks into the braces journey here and having some similar issues.... Although I don't have any elastics/rubber bands yet on Clarity SL ceramics upper/lower, it seems as though different parts of my mouth have sprouted a succession of sores out of nowhere.... I was wondering ...

Re: Yellowing of teeth.... and whitening whilst in braces...

Confirmed with my Orthodontist today that it is likely a combination of the etching/sealant used when I got my braces..... The appearance of "yellowing" can also be exacerbated for some people (including me) by the use of fluoride.... Advised to stop use of Phos-Flur rinse or any mouthwash or toothp...

Its been about a month for me since I've been braced. Had to get a wire shortened today and in the mirror.....horror! My teeth are so yellow. I have ceramic on top and metal on bottom. My teeth have never been yellow....ever. I am so upset. I see my perio on Thursday and he is going to yell at me.....

Re: Yellowing of teeth.... and whitening whilst in braces...

When I asked why my teeth were so yellow at my first adjustment appointment, my ortho said they put on sealant when they applied my brackets, and it was the sealant that was yellowish in color. They removed it because i was so unhappy with the look of yellow teeth! They did say that, without the se...
