Re: Asked ortho to remove expansion device after 5 minutes!

Hey, would they consider fitting it on a friday for you. At least you could just be miserable at home for a couple of days - you might be a bit more used to it by the monday? I hope that doesn't sound flippant - I certainly don't intend it to and I have no experience of this device. I hope you find ...

Re: Jaw surgery in Scotland?

I had my adenoids removed as a child cos I was a mouth breather but I now wonder whether it was related to my upper jaw issues as I still mouth breathe at times. Hope that gets resolved for you. I'm away to Google sarpe now to see what t...

Re: is a 6mm underbite 'bad'

Hi, I am 38 and braces for surgery. I was offered it as a teenager & declined. I have spent my adult life being happy, but self conscious of my profile and avoiding photographs. At a routine check up my dentist advised me that my bite was damaging my teeth and I would probably lose teeth over 5-10 y...

Re: Newbie from UK

Welcome!

I am in the uk. Braces since mid december - I have not had too much bother with them :-)

I had my wisdom teeth removed on wednesday. I've had no pain from the teeth, just struggled with op side effects.

I will be having double jaw surgery in about a year.

Good luck with your journey x
