I have been braced for 10 weeks now...I have lost 9 lbs so far.....

I had my 2nd adjustment yesterday. Have the same wire I started with. He said he was going to put 2 wire ties on. I asked what they did different then the ligs...he said they would tighten better on the teeth that needed rotated. Ouch! They definitely are tighter! Only really hurts when I eat or bru...

When I got my braces put on....I asked if I was the oldest patient they have. I was told no way!! They have one gentleman that is early 70's...and only lives in the area 6 months a year. The other 6 months...he flys back every 6 weeks for adjustments!! So I think there is never a end to the possibli...

Trust...so sorry you are having all that pain !! I am thankful everyday that I am one the lucky ones that is almost pain free!! I say that this week......2nd adjustment next week..we will see if I can say this again next week! '

I have 2 crowns on the bottom. One gives me pain. I make sure it is really clean around it. Not sure if maybe the bracket is tugging on it a bit...or what. Pain seems to come and go. I go to my ortho next week..I am going to ask him to check it and make sure all is well with it.
