GumEase is Back and Now Called "OraChill!" Drug-Free Braces Pain Relief!
A few years ago, DentaKit.com carried a terrific product called GumEase. It's a series of mouthpieces that you freeze, and then put inside your lips to short-circuit the pain response from the nerves in your mouth. The product was very popular and worked very well, but the company ran into manufactu...

Re: Beware "Holistic" Dentists
Aside from "holistic dentist" quackery, I'm also leery of the "doctors" who tell you to hold a substance in one hand, and then test your arm strength (to determine whether you're allergic to the substance). I forget what it's called, but it's total nonsense.

We are now secure (https)
Just wanted to let you guys know that our entire site (ArchWired.com and this message board) are now serving up as https, which means that the site is secure. Not that it wasn't secure previously; it's just something that Google is now requiring for Chrome as of Oct. 1st. If you get any sort of erro...

Re: Please, anybody's Have Pre-existing fatigue improve AFTER?
Thought I'd throw in a comment here. I have moderate sleep apnea (my husband has severe obstructive apnea). We both use CPAPs. I went through menopause a few years ago, which resulted in a small weight gain, including some annoying fat in the neck area. I started to feel as if I wasn't sleeping wel...

Re: Metal Poisoning from braces???
Metal poisoning can and does happen. You're confusing nickle allergy with nickle poisoning. Blood test showed my son had a nickle level of 28 in his blood - the allowable limit is .7. He was dying from this. It was a fluke that someone mentioned he could be allergic, and our doctor at Stanford's Lu...
