Bella and her Six Month Smiles

I probably won't comment much here as I have linked to a fairly detailed blog. However I don't want to post pics in my blog right now, so I will be popping some progress pics in here now and again. Re: 6 MONTH SMILE BRACES

That's really quick progress. I had my 6 Month Smiles braces put on this Thursday just gone, so I am into my second full day of them. I've already had red wine and curry - very naughty. I'm finding the lower jaw far more tiresome than the top jaw (which is a bit galling since I wasn't originally pla...

Six Month Smiles Blog

I started blogging about Six Month Smiles because there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info out there, other than the promotional stuff. I hope my blog might be useful to someone, so here is a link:

Re: invisalign weekly change?

Surely you need to raise that question with your dentist?

I'm surprised you were told it would be a 6 month procedure - when I researched Invisalign they said it would be a couple of years.

Re: New Member...Braces at 26

Good luck. I had all that malarkey as a teenager, including the headgear.

It was all fine until my wisdom teeth shoved my teeth out of alignment again and I've just embarked on Six Month Smiles.

Re: Day 2 and ulcers

My understanding is that your mouth gets used to the braces and you stop getting ulcers after a week or two.

I sometimes do that. I have tried Bonjela which seems to help a bit but stings like heck when you first put it on.

Re: What to do: 6 month Smiles vs. Invisaligns?

I researched both but have opted for 6 Month Smiles, mainly because they are cheaper and the treatment time is way shorter. My understanding is that Invisalign treats the whole mouth; only my front teeth need moving so Invisalign seemed a bit like overkill.

Re: Leftie's Brace's Blog - Six Month Smiles

I'm interested to read this blog. I just had my Six Month Smiles braces fitted on Thursday. One of the brackets has popped off already so I'm back on Monday to have it checked.
