Combination of Questions

This post is a combination of questions. Please feel free to comment on any single part, or all of them. Question 1: I am on day eight of 14 on tray set #1. My teeth no longer feel much if any pressure when I put them back on after eating. When I do feel pressure, it goes away within a minute or so....

I am not sure about the water with lemon. I can certainly understand where this would make drinking water more appealing though (if you normally aren't a water drinker like me). My personal thought would be that although lemons have no sugar, the natural acid in fruit might not be good to sit in bet...

I am in the US as well, however I strongly agree with everyone urging an ortho over a dentist. If possible, try to find a premier elite invisalign provider (my ortho is one of the few 1% who are awarded this status, and I am 150% confident in his ability to successfully treat my case). Personally I ...

daily time in/out of trays

I just wanted to survey everyone to see how much time they spend wearing the invisalign trays per day. My ortho said I should wear then for 23 hours a day. However I have kept track of the time I have had them off over the last two days, and I am averaging about 22 hrs with trays on. I think 23 is p...

Just a quick update to this problem. This morning I can still feel a "gap" between the aligner and gum, but it's not as bothersome as yesterday. I don't know if its from my teeth moving overnight, or becuase my mouth is becoming accustomed to the change. Probably a little of both. Anyhow, thanks aga...

Day One of Invisalign

So I am on day one of my invisalign treatment. So far not bad. Just a question or two for the invisalign "vets" in the group! My upper tray has one area back by my last left molar that doesnt quite feel right. When I probe the area with my toungue, speak, or swallow, my tounge feels like it is rubbi...

I'm in Ohio. I am waiting for my trays to arrive so I don't know the exact treatment time yet. My ortho is estimating treatment time to be 16 months. I paid $4245.00 (after my insurance benefit of $1750.00) = $5595.00 total cost.

Stim-U-Dents

I am curious to know if anyone uses Stim-U-Dents to floss their teeth before re-inserting invisalign trays after eating? My dentist gave me a pack to try at my last cleaning, and I love them! I think they are more convenient than traditional floss. This is especially true while at work (very discree...

Flossing after getting Invisalign

Hi I am happy to have found this site devoted to those going through, or who have completed Invisalign treatment! My question is this: I am scheduled to have my invisalign seat date on Aug 26. I have read that the first few days after starting treatment can be somewhat painful. I am wondering if it ...
