Sonicare does take a couple of weeks to get used to and the high-speed sonic vibrations do tickle, especially the gums.

Sonicare Elite gets my vote too. The cleanest my teeth have ever been with a toothbrush. I've used Sonicare Advance for years, but the Elite seems to do an even better job. The only disadvantage is that the Sonicare brush heads need more frequent replacement with braces. They get pretty torn up!

I have used a Sonicare for many years and find it a great help now that I have braces. It gets my teeth cleaner than a plain toothbrush.
