Hello Martin!

Question for you!

The tooth you had that was pretty far in the palate, I believe its called your incisor....when that tooth was being pulled up to the arch did it bring your gum along with it?

It is different for everyone, but for me my lower braces bother me ALOT more than my uppers. I am also wearing damons. It's weird my bottoms are nearly perfect but they hurt way worse than my tops which have A LONG way to go.

How come...???

How come one day my teeth feel great and I can eat nearly as good as I could pre-braces, and then the next day my teeth are throbbing. Whats up with the pain being inconsistent. I don't understand...anyone having similar problems?

Yes this is normal, everyone experiences the pain with braces differently... some have A LOT of pain, and some experience very little. You only have one arch braced, so that could have something to do with it, I know for me that my bottom braces hurt more than my top. BUT..just a little warning, the...

This topic makes me realize how completely and utterly lazy I am.

I have a small mouth and flossing is extremely difficult for me, esp the back molars ( top arch).

I alternate...one night waterpik, one night flossing...and now I feel guilty ha!

My impacted canines came down behind my baby ones, and my orthos told me they wished that I had begun the process before my teeth came down, so as cliche as it is to say...it could always be worse :D The canines might get exposed quicker than you think. Your in this for a while so there's no point i...

Although I have not had it done I can relate. Further on in my treatment I will have to get that done also. Lucky for you, your ortho does it! I have to go to my dentist and get mine because its not included in my contract :( I also would like to know what the pain is like with that particular proce...

That sounds a bit odd... I had two extractions scheduled 15 days after I was braced. My ortho went ahead and put the wires on, and then on my extraction day I went to his office got the wire taken out , went to the dentist got the two teeth taken out, and then the next day went back to have the wire...

Re: Damon 4's My ortho called them 4's and said he had just gotten them; that was 2 weeks ago. He's might be one of the company's "beta testers", so he may get them before everyone else. I really don't notice any difference. Hmm... interesting, never heard of them. Next time you go back you should ...

I just recently had my upper canines extracted. I didn't think the actual extracting hurt at all, thanks to all the numbing. The real pain came from the shots, so because of that I took medicine afterwards, once the numbing started to wear off. Lucky for me, I got lortabs, don't know if you'll be as...

At work this 7 year-old was staring at me for the longest time, so much so that she couldn't even get the question out that she wanted to ask. Finally, after saying " Is there anything I can get you hun," for the 80th time. She quietly whispered, " Wow, I really really really like your braces." Ha! ...

I am also 19, and also paying for my braces sans insurance and "parental" help, SO.. I FEEL YOUR PAIN! Lucky for you, you are in a serious relationship. Try being almost 20 and single. ekk not fun. I feel like every guy I meet is STARING at my braces, but in reality its mostly all in my head. I have...

Question for all you Damon Wearers.!

Okay, I know a lot of you one here wear Damon/Damon 3's and I was wondering if you all also had your appointments 8 weeks apart. Ugh it seems so far away, and I am extremely inpatient when it comes to this. I got fully braced the second of september and they told me not to come back untill November ...

Re: Which treatment?

Ive thought about braces but will i have to pay now im over 18? A lot of insurance companies cover you until the day you turn 20, as long as you are a full time student. Thats is, if your a dependent on someone else's insurance, i.e. your parents. But, insurance usually covers an average of about $...
