Im in class II on one side, so at the moment I do eat with them in. The ONLY reason I eat with them in is because I want to be wearing them 24/7. My assist, told me that how much you wear your elastic really effects your treatment time.

Has anyone ever doubled up on their elastics...? I know it is probably really stupid and I should follow the orthos instructions but eh... I couldn't resist. I only have one elastic going from Right upper canine to Last Lower Molar. I think I may only keep it in for an hour.

Yes your ortho will take x-rays during your treatment to make sure the roots are moving correctly.
