And they're off!



Its like christmas! lol

June 15th - Tomorrow! Its like the night before christmas!

Sayrah, wow, 7 years?? I can't even imagine how excited you must be!

And also, any advice? I'm a little bit nervous that it's going to hurt.
Apparently I have to wait a week for my retainers.. are my teeth likely to move in this time?

My braces come off tomorrow! It's been 3 years, 1 month, 3 weeks and 3 days.
Has anyone got any horror stories about removals? I like to be prepared.

How come you haven't had an adjustment for 6 months? That's a bit odd isn't it? Extractions suck, i had 2 teeth pulled out (the same teeth as you) and upper and lower braces put on, all in the same visit! Not a pleasant experience, especially when you have the dental nurse holding down your head dow...

Your teeth are looking fantastic! I read few the first few pages of your story (great writing by the way) but then I got lazy and just checked out the pictures (sorry)

The extra year has been just tweaking little things here and there, but mostly the dentist isn't happy with my bite on one side.. so he is trying to widen my upper jaw a bit more, which is taking forever!

I can't believe my braces are still on! He told me nearly a year ago they were coming off =o(
But I have to get x-rays before my next visit (which isn't until february oddly enough) so fingers crossed that they will finalllyy come off in feb!

yeah it is exciting, i'm so happy with how they are looking. I am hoping at the next appointment he gives me a defenite date for when they come off

My top teeth are straight, bite is fixed, all thats left is one tooth at the bottom that doesn't seem to have quite enough room to straighten up perfectly.
