Upper / Lower jaw surgery in April 2009

I can feel 2 total screws.

Above my upper left molar i feel a little nub through the gum
Also where the nasolabial fold meets the nose, i can feel another little nub

Is this normal?

Honestly, im about 6 months, and my nose swelling is finally subsiding a bit. I imagine it won't be back to normal for another 6 or so

yeah.. sucks.. but im hoping i can get more of the lower lip back. the pain and upper jaw dont really bother me.. but for kissing etc.. no lower lip.. sucks

LOL at 3 weeks EVERYONE is still swollen to an extent and im almost positive every single person on the planet with this surgery has a crooked/weird smile till at least 1-1.5 months post op. You'll be amazed at what the 3rd and 4th week do as far as healing goes.!!!

5 months out and still numb in lower lip and upper jaw.

Man.. Dont know if your case it would be worth it. Your upper and lower jaw dont look that recessed, but honestly, from my experience, you need a TRUE PROFILE view to really analyze that.
