Impacted Canine
I just had another exposure surgery done last week after my chain broke. The surgeon flapped up the gum and put on the bracket and chain and sutured it. Impacted canine exposure surgery today
I had both upper canines (#6 and #11) exposed today at 8 am. This was the first surgery I had EVER had so I was very apprehensive. They took me back where the asst and surgeon himself got me all set up, started my IV and gave me the medication (I beleive it was Versed). The next thing i knew, he woke...

Although I cannot relate to your story as I have different mouth issues I too have surgery coming up to bring down my impacted canines. I am 34 so we are close in age. I'm sure that you, like me, wish this were done when we were in our teen years like everyone else but it is exciting to finally get ...

I can relate to your story although I am 34! I too have both canines impacted and currently ortho making space for the two impacted canines to come down. The baby teeth are gone and I look pretty crazy with all the gaps in my mouth. Be glad you can take care of this situation at your age, I have hat...

Just got back from the ortho office, I feel like a new woman! They said they are just moving a lot this time and that even if it is a weekend I can call them and leave a message and if/when someone comes by to check messages they can call me and they can cut it. I am lucky I am with a small ortho of...

Wires sticking out
I searched forever and still did not find anyone complaining about wires sticking them as teeth move. I had first adjustment end of april and have had to go back to orthodontist to get wire on the right clipped as it was digging into my gums and I had used tons of wax to no avail. Anyway, they clipp...
