Do you have any photos of your lower jaw? I had a problem with my condyles as well and my right side of the jaw was lower than the left. I can't imagine that a genioplasty would have helped my appearance (or the discomfort from my bite), but I would have to see your individual case to say for sure w...

I echo everyone elses' sentiments: do whatever your surgeon says is okay. I was on soft chew (pastas, fish, pancakes, etc) on day 10 but I've seen people on here who haven't been put on soft food diet until six weeks.
