Like Tina said, there's no rush. You are young. Only get the surgery because you want it, not because of what someone else wants.

Congrats on getting braces, your braces look super good! I know exactly how you feel when you say you made yourself talk/smile without showing your teeth...I did that too. Once you start seeing progress you won't be able to stop smiling!
