I can not speak for everyone else, but my face/cheek bones filled back in after my braces were removed. Also, my big lips went away.

Re: Whitening after braces?
I had my braces off on May 5th, and received a good cleaning along with a whitening kit with professional molded trays 19 days later. I would have done it sooner, but I couldn't get into see my hygenist and dentist before then. My ortho didn't say anything about waiting.

Re: Brace-Free!!!
I actually have the same problem. I am going to get bonding done in-between my two front teeth, that way, it will get rid of the black triangle as well. Let me know how yours turns out.

Take it from someone with a background in Toxicology....It is a "Big Deal", and parents do need to share this information with their children....

Re: One tooth keeps moving!!!
I too am having the same problem. My two top front teeth are verry wobbly and sometimes I can see a teeny-tiny space in-between them. I am pretty sure that the retainer closes it, but I don't like it opening with the retainer out. I may be acting silly, I mean it is probably smaller than one strand ...

Am I being Paranoid now?
I had my braces removed 3wks ago tomorrow. I am pretty pleased with the outcome. However, I notice a fine hair-line space between my two front teeth, and it will not close. I am quite sure that it is only noticeable to me. But, I don't like it. I am scheduled to see my ortho again on July 11th. Do y...

Re: 6 months in thith damn retainer......REALLY?!....6 MONTH
This is freaking hillarious! The very first day I got my retainer (11 days ago), I had to meet with a wedding planner! I doubt she understood a word I said.

Re: Teeth moving..
I had my braces removed last Thursday. I was fitted with an essix. Needless to say I am seeing some teeny tiny spaces open up as well. I am sure when I get the Hawley it can be tweeked/tightnened to fix this. I really notice it when I floss. Please let me know how your appointment goes. I am sure th...

Re: Braces removed yesterday and I have a question.
Thanks lilfoot1112. I was getting VERY scared for a minute. I wore mine for 3 years and 3 months to the very day. I would have been horrifed after all that time if there were to be a relapse. By the way, how did your deband experience go? I didn't think it was that bad. My teeth felt extremely slime...

Braces removed yesterday and I have a question.
I just noticed that it is very very easy to floss. I mean hardly any effort at all to get floss in between my teeth. Where as before with the braces on, it was more difficult. Do you think this is the beginning of gaps trying to open or, is it supposed to be a little bit more loose without the brace...

Re: Scared to have braces removed?
I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND! I was told today that my braces would be coming off on May 5th. Exactly 3yrs and 3mo to the very day. Needless to say, I am very excited but scared $HITLESS at the same time. So, maybe we are both nuts LOL!

Re: May Debraces Club
3 yrs and 3 months to the DAY! I will be debraced. I am very excited, but VERY nervous at the same time. Not scared of getting the braces off, just a relapse. I truly adore my orthodontic team, so I shouldn't be nervous. I believe they will correct any bit of relapse, but I am still VERY nervous. Am...
